Trigeminal Neuralgia as Nonodontogenic Toothache: A Case Report

چکیده

Toothaches typically originate from the odontogenic structures such as dentin, pulp and periodontium. which have an origin are managed effectively in dental clinic; however, toothaches with a nonodontogenic often difficult to identify. This article presents case of trigeminal neuralgia that was misdiagnosed pain initially treated surgically endodontically, despite no abnormality detected physical examination or X-ray. The aim this is present may mimic toothache. highlights importance having thorough knowledge appropriate clinical skills differentiate both toothaches, well need for careful diagnosis before undertaking any treatment.
